A few items that didn’t make it into the PAC newsletter…

Hello,

Here is some more stuff from PAC…

  • The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to False Creek from Monday, November 26 – Thursday, November 29 in our library. This is a great opportunity to stock up on gifts (and support a fundraiser for our library!) If you are able to volunteer for the Book Fair, please sign up on the timetable posted outside the library.
  • There is a Ski Pass offered to all students in grades 4 and 5 by the Canadian Ski Council. For a nominal registration fee (appox $30), students in these grade can ski for free up to 3 times at local and out of province mountains. For more information and to sign up for a pass, go to: www.snowpass.ca.
  • Our Knitting Club is well attended now that the rainy weather is keeping students indoors during lunch. If you have any knitting supplies at home that you can donate to this popular lunch-time activity, please bring it to the library. A big thanks to Ms G and Ms Berney, as well as all the other staff members who assist our students with this activity!
