Fundraising Overview

PAC engages in several fundraising efforts:

  • Direct Donation Fundraising Campaign
  • School-based fundraising events such as hot lunch, spring carnival, social events etc. 

Together these fundraising initiatives provide whole or partial funding for programs that may vary each year.

    Direct Donation Options

    Arts & Culture

    • Annual visit to the VSO (for all grades)
    • Art workshops for all classes
    • Special performances for the whole school
    • Supplies for Knitting Club
    • Additional art supplies for intermediate students

    Sports & Recreation

    • Team jerseys
    • Additional sports equipment
    • Week-long dance and sports workshops for each class
    • Grade 4 swim program
    • Grade 6/7 camping trip and year-end celebration

    Giving Back

    PAC fundraising also supports our wider community. We donate proceeds from school initiatives to local charities, including the Vancouver Food Bank and Sheway. All Costume Swap funds are given to Sheway, and half of the Winter Bazaar proceeds go to the Food Bank.

    • Chocolate Lily and Red Cedar book clubs

    Science & Technology

    • Science workshops
    • New laptops & iPads

    Classroom

    • Field trips
    • Additional classroom supplies

      Many local businesses and merchants also generously donate to our PAC, helping us raise funds at our social and other events, including Save-On-Foods (Cambie and 7th), Alfie’s No Frills (4th and Pine), Costco (Downtown), and Starbucks.
